The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has officially released the LIC AAO Specialist & Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2025 notification for its 32nd batch. This is a golden opportunity for aspirants looking for a secure and prestigious career in Indias largest life insurance company.

Assistant Engineers (AE) 81 posts
- AE (Civil): 50
- AE (Electrical): 31
Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) Specialist 410 posts

- AAO (Actuarial): 30

Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD categories will be applicable as per Government of India rules.

Eligibility Criteria (as on 01.08.2025)

Age Limit

Minimum: 21 years
Maximum:
- 30 years for AE, AAO (CS, Actuarial, Insurance Specialist)
- 32 years for AAO (CA, Legal)
Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/LIC Employees as per rules.

Educational Qualifications

AE (Civil/Electrical) B.E./B.Tech. in relevant discipline from AICTE-recognized university + minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in planning & execution of multi-storied projects.
AAO (CA) Bachelors Degree + Membership of ICAI.
AAO (CS) Bachelors Degree + Membership of ICSI.
AAO (Actuarial) Bachelors Degree + passed at least 6 Actuarial papers from IAI/IFoA.
AAO (Insurance Specialist) Bachelors Degree + Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India (Life) + minimum 5 years experience in Life Insurance companies regulated by IRDAI.
AAO (Legal) Bachelors Degree in Law with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) + enrollment with Bar Council + at least 2 years experience as Advocate or Law Officer.

Salary and Benefits

Basic Pay: �88,635/- per month in the scale of �88,635 1,69,025.
Total Emoluments: Approx. �1,26,000/- per month in A class cities.

Selection Process

The recruitment process will consist of three phases:

Preliminary Examination (Objective Test Online)
Main Examination (Objective + Descriptive Test Online)
Interview

Prelims is qualifying in nature; marks will not be added to the final merit list.
Mains + Interview scores will decide the final merit.
Candidates must also undergo a Pre-recruitment Medical Examination before appointment.
