Educational Qualification (Post-wise)

1. Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production)

• 3-year Diploma in Chemical / Petrochemical Engineering
  OR

• B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Industrial Chemistry)

2. Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (P&U)

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

• Boiler Competency Certificate (Second Class) or NAC in Boiler Attendant

3. Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical)

• Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering

4. Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Mechanical)

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

5. Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Instrumentation)

• Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

6. Junior Quality Control Analyst

• B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Industrial Chemistry)

• Sub-Officer Course from NFSC, Nagpur

Minimum Marks:

• General/EWS/OBC: 50%

• SC/ST/PwBD: 45%

Age Limit (As on 31 December 2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years

• Maximum Age: 26 Years (General/EWS)

Selection Process

The IOCL Non-Executive selection process consists of:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)

• Total Questions: 100

• Duration: 120 Minutes

• Sections:

  • Subject Knowledge – 75 Marks

  • Numerical Ability – 15 Marks

  • General Awareness – 10 Marks

• No negative marking

2. Skill / Proficiency / Physical Test (SPPT)

• Qualifying in nature

• Applicable as per post requirements

Final merit will be prepared based on CBT marks, subject to qualifying SPPT and document verification.
