Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited Recruitment Notification 2025  Civil Department

Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited, a 50:50 joint venture of the Government of India and Government of Gujarat, has released an official notification (No. GMRCL/HR/RECT/Civil/Sept-25/10 dated 24th September 2025) inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for various civil engineering posts. The appointments will be made on Contract / Deputation / Post-Superannuation basis for a minimum tenure of 3 to 5 years. These positions are primarily for the Surat Metro Rail Project.

Vacancies & Eligibility

1. Joint General Manager (Civil  Underground/Tunnel)
   • Vacancies: 01
   • Pay Scale: �90,000  2,40,000
   • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
   • Experience: Minimum 16 years (Private Sector) or 14 years (Govt./PSU) in underground structures, tunnel work (TBM), supervision & design.
   • Maximum Age: 50 years (contract), 58 years (deputation), 62 years (post-superannuation).
2. Sr. Deputy General Manager / Deputy General Manager (Civil  Underground/Tunnel)
   • Vacancies: 01
   • Pay Scale: �80,000  2,20,000 / �70,000  2,00,000
   • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
   • Experience:
     • Sr. DGM: 15 years (Private) / 11 years (Govt./PSU)
     • DGM: 10 years (Private) / 8 years (Govt./PSU)
   • Maximum Age: 48 years (Sr. DGM), 45 years (DGM).
3. Sr. Deputy General Manager / Deputy General Manager (Civil  Elevated)
   • Vacancies: 01
   • Pay Scale: �80,000  2,20,000 / �70,000  2,00,000
   • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
   • Experience: Must have worked on viaducts, bridges, multi-storied buildings, workshops; metro rail viaduct experience preferred.
   • Maximum Age: 48 years (Sr. DGM), 45 years (DGM).
4. Manager (Civil)
   • Vacancies: 07
   • Pay Scale: �60,000  1,80,000
   • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
   • Experience: 9 years (Private) / 7 years (Govt./PSU).
   • Maximum Age: 38 years.
5. Assistant Manager (Civil)
   • Vacancies: 01
   • Pay Scale: �50,000  1,60,000
   • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
   • Experience: 7 years (Private) / 5 years (Govt./PSU).
   • Maximum Age: 32 years.
6. Engineer  Sr. Grade (Civil)
   • Vacancies: 01
   • Pay Scale: �35,000  1,10,000
   • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
   • Experience: Minimum 3 years.
   • Maximum Age: 32 years.
7. Engineer  Jr. Grade (Civil)
   • Vacancies: 06
   • Pay Scale: �30,000  1,20,000
   • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
   • Experience: Minimum 2 years.
   • Maximum Age: 32 years.

General Conditions

• Age and experience will be considered as on 24th September 2025.
• Candidates from Indian Railways, Metro Rail, Central/State Govt., PSUs will be preferred.
• Preference for candidates who have worked in Gujarat for at least 3 years and are conversant with Gujarati.
• Candidates may be posted at Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, or any other GMRC projects in Gujarat.

Selection Process

• Personal Interview followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.
• Preference for candidates with experience in the same grade or one grade lower with minimum 2 years service.
• Interview details will be communicated via email to shortlisted candidates.
