GSSSB Recruitment 2025 Apply Online for X-Ray Assistant (Class III) Posts

The Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal (GSSSB), Gandhinagar has released an official notification Advt. No. 346/2025-26 for the recruitment of X-Ray Assistant, Class III posts under the Health and Family Welfare Department. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of OJAS: ojas.gujarat.gov.in from 1st September 2025 (13:00 hrs) to 15th September 2025 (23:59 hrs).

Vacancy Details

• Total Posts: 40

• Reservation: Reserved seats are available for Women, SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, Ex-Servicemen as per Government norms.

• Note: Number of vacancies may increase or decrease.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

• Candidate must be an Indian citizen or as per Gujarat Civil Services Classification Rules, 1967.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 33 years (as of the last application date)

• Age relaxation is applicable as follows:

  • Women (General Category): 5 years

  • Reserved Category (Male): 5 years

  • Reserved Category (Female): 10 years (up to 45 years)

  • PwD (General Male): 10 years (up to 45 years)

  • PwD (General Female): 15 years (up to 45 years)

  • PwD (Reserved Category): up to 20 years (up to 45 years)

  • Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years

Educational Qualification

1. Passed Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination with Physics, Chemistry, and English subjects.

2. Must have basic knowledge of Computer Applications as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification Rules, 1967.

3. Must have adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.

Pay Scale

• Fixed Pay: �26,000/- per month for the first 5 years.

• After completion of 5 years (subject to satisfactory performance): �19,900 �63,200/- (Level-2, 7th Pay Commission).

Selection Process

• Candidates will be selected through a Competitive Written Exam (OMR/CBRT method).

• The exam will consist of MCQ-type questions with negative marking (� mark per wrong answer).

Exam Pattern

Part A (60 Marks)

1. Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation 30 Marks

2. Quantitative Aptitude 30 Marks

Part B (150 Marks)

1. Indian Constitution, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension 30 Marks

2. Subject-related (X-Ray Technology & Applications) 120 Marks

• Total Marks: 210

• Exam Duration: 3 Hours

• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% in each part
