Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / Electronics & Communication / IT
  OR

• Full-time MCA degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university approved by UGC/AICTE.

• Minimum 55% marks in the last two semesters.

• Equivalent degree holders must produce an equivalence certificate from the competent authority.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in design & development of commercial applications using PHP/MySQL/ORACLE/MS-SQL (as on 11/08/2025).

• Desirable: Experience in large/medium-scale industries or organizations.

Age Limit (as on 11/08/2025)

• UR Category: Max 35 years

• Reserved & EWS: Max 40 years

• Additional relaxations:

  • Female candidates: +5 years

  • PwD candidates: +10 years

  • Ex-Armed Forces: +10 years

  • Dependent of retired GUVNL/subsidiary employee: Up to 40 years

  • Maximum age relaxation capped at 45 years.

Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted in two stages:

1. First Tier Examination (100 Marks)

• Reasoning – 15 Marks

• Quantitative Aptitude – 15 Marks

• English Language – 20 Marks

• Gujarati Language – 20 Marks

• General Knowledge – 10 Marks

• Computer Knowledge – 20 Marks

• Qualifying Marks: UR – 50, Reserved/EWS/PwD – 45

2. Second Tier Examination (100 Marks)

• Programming Logic, PHP, Java, Android Development

• Databases (MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL)

• APIs & Web Services, JS/AJAX/JQuery

• Web Designing, Linux & Windows Server

• Server Security, Cloud & Storage Technologies

• Final Merit: Based only on Second Tier marks

Note: Negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer will apply in both tiers.
