Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 28 years as of 5 December 2025.

• Age Relaxations:

  • SC/ST: 5 years

  • OBC (NCL): 3 years

  • PwBD: 10 years for General, 15 years for SC/ST, and 13 years for OBC

  • Departmental candidates: 45 years, regardless of category.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a Degree in Engineering in any of the following disciplines:

• Chemical: Chemical Engineering/Technology, Electro Chemical Engineering

• Civil: Civil Engineering

• Computer: Computer Science, IT, MCA

• Electrical: Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Power Electronics, etc.

• Instrumentation: Electronics, Instrumentation, Robotics, Control Engineering, etc.

• Mechanical: Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Thermal Engineering, etc.

• Metallurgical: Metallurgical Engineering, Material Sciences & Engineering

A minimum of 65% marks in the aggregate of all semesters is required. For SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental candidates, the requirement is 55% marks.

Medical Standards

Candidates must meet the following physical requirements:

• Minimum Weight: 45 kg

• Minimum Height: 155 cm

• Vision: Myopia/Hypermetropia should not exceed �4.00 in each eye, and no color blindness is allowed.

Selection Process

1. Online Examination (CBT):

   • Part 1: Domain Knowledge Test (40 minutes, 100 marks)

   • Part 2: Aptitude Test (80 minutes, 100 marks) covering:

     • Quantitative Aptitude

     • English Language

     • Reasoning

     • General Awareness

   • Candidates need to score at least 50 percentile in each part for General/EWS and 40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC(PwBD) candidates.

2. Group Discussion (GD) and Interview:

   • Shortlisted candidates (1:3 ratio) will be invited for GD and Interview.

   • Merit list will be based on a combination of scores from the CBT, GD, and Interview (weightage of 75:10:15 respectively).

3. Biometric Verification:

   • Biometric data (photo/thumb impression) will be captured at three stages: Online Exam, GD/Interview, and Joining.

Training and Emoluments

• Training Duration: 1 year (under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961)

• Probation: 1 year after successful training completion.

• Salary:

  • During Training: �50,000/month

  • After Training (Assistant Manager in E1 grade): �60,000-1,80,000/month

• Additional Benefits:

  • CTC: Approx. �16-17 Lakhs per annum (at minimum of E1 grade).
