Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification:

Any Graduate with Membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
Desired Qualification:

LL.B. (Law degree preferred)

Maximum 40 years as on 20/08/2025

Relaxation: 5 years for reserved category candidates
Experience:

Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience as a Company Secretary in:

A Public Limited Company with a turnover of ₹100 Crores or more, OR
-
A State/Central Public Sector Undertaking (PSU)

Key Responsibilities & Skills Required
-
Ensuring statutory compliances under Companies Act, 1956 & 2013.
-
Drafting and finalizing Directors’ Reports, AGM/EGM Notices, and Board Resolutions.
-
Conducting Board Meetings, General Meetings, and maintaining records.
-
Liaising with SEBI, ROC, Banks, Financial Institutions, Regulators, and other stakeholders.
-
Managing Public/Private Placement, Equity/Preference Share Capital, Debt Syndication, and CSR compliance.
-
Drafting and vetting legal documents, agreements, contracts.
-
Overseeing corporate governance, cost audit filings, and other secretarial functions.
-
Heading the Legal Department and handling legal matters, including arbitration, labor, and commercial laws.
-
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Power Sector/Public Sector.
