Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Applicant must be:

A citizen of India, or

A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or

A Tibetan refugee (came to India before 1 Jan 1962), or

A person of Indian origin migrated from certain countries (as per official notification).

Candidates must have been born between 2nd August 1995 and 1st August 2004 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification (as on 01.08.2025)
Generalists
-
Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Specialists
-
Risk Engineers: Engineering degree (Graduation/Post-Graduation) with required percentage.

Automobile Engineers: BE/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Automobile Engg OR Graduate in any engineering discipline + Diploma in Automobile Engg.

Legal Specialists: Graduate/Postgraduate in Law.

Accounts Specialists: Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant OR MBA Finance/PGDM Finance/M.Com.

AO (Health): MBBS/MD/MS/BDS/MDS/BAMS/BHMS with valid registration.

IT Specialists: BE/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in IT or Computer Science OR MCA.

Business Analysts: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or Business Analytics.

Company Secretary: ACS/FCS from ICSI + Graduate/Postgraduate.

Actuarial Specialists: Graduate/Postgraduate + minimum four actuarial papers cleared (including CM1).
Selection Process

Phase-I: Preliminary Exam – Online objective test (100 marks, 60 minutes).

Phase-II: Main Exam – Online objective test (200 marks) + descriptive test (30 marks).

Phase-III: Interview – Final merit based on Main Exam (75%) and Interview (25%).

Pay Scale & Benefits

Basic Pay: ₹50,925/- in the pay scale of ₹50,925 – 96,765

Gross Emoluments: Approximately ₹90,000/- per month in metro cities.

Bond & Probation
-
Probation: 1 year (extendable up to 2 years). Must pass the Non-Life Licentiate Examination for confirmation.

Bond: Minimum 4 years service (including probation) or pay one year’s gross salary as liquidated damages if leaving early.
