(NIACL), a leading Public Sector General Insurance Company, has announced the recruitment of 550 Administrative Officers (Generalists & Specialists) in Scale-I cadre from the open market. Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Applicant must be:

• A citizen of India, or

• A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or

• A Tibetan refugee (came to India before 1 Jan 1962), or

• A person of Indian origin migrated from certain countries (as per official notification).

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)

• Minimum Age: 21 years

• Maximum Age: 30 years

• Candidates must have been born between 2nd August 1995 and 1st August 2004 (both dates inclusive).

• Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and other categories as per rules.

Educational Qualification (as on 01.08.2025)

Generalists

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Specialists

• Risk Engineers: Engineering degree (Graduation/Post-Graduation) with required percentage.

• Automobile Engineers: BE/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Automobile Engg OR Graduate in any engineering discipline + Diploma in Automobile Engg.

• Legal Specialists: Graduate/Postgraduate in Law.

• Accounts Specialists: Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant OR MBA Finance/PGDM Finance/M.Com.

• AO (Health): MBBS/MD/MS/BDS/MDS/BAMS/BHMS with valid registration.

• IT Specialists: BE/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in IT or Computer Science OR MCA.

• Business Analysts: Bachelors/Masters in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or Business Analytics.

• Company Secretary: ACS/FCS from ICSI + Graduate/Postgraduate.

• Actuarial Specialists: Graduate/Postgraduate + minimum four actuarial papers cleared (including CM1).

Selection Process

1. Phase-I: Preliminary Exam  Online objective test (100 marks, 60 minutes).

2. Phase-II: Main Exam  Online objective test (200 marks) + descriptive test (30 marks).

3. Phase-III: Interview  Final merit based on Main Exam (75%) and Interview (25%).

Application Fee

• SC/ST/PwBD: �100 (intimation charges only)

• All Others: �850 (application fee + intimation charges)

Pay Scale & Benefits

• Basic Pay: �50,925/- in the pay scale of �50,925  96,765

• Gross Emoluments: Approximately �90,000/- per month in metro cities.

• Additional benefits include National Pension System, gratuity, leave travel subsidy, medical benefits, accident insurance, and company/leased accommodation as per rules.

Bond & Probation

• Probation: 1 year (extendable up to 2 years). Must pass the Non-Life Licentiate Examination for confirmation.

• Bond: Minimum 4 years service (including probation) or pay one years gross salary as liquidated damages if leaving early.
