India Post Payments Bank Limited (IPPB), a Government of India undertaking under the Department of Posts, has released the IPPB Recruitment 2025 Notification for 309 vacancies. The recruitment is open for Junior Associate and Assistant Manager (Scale-I) posts on Deputation/Foreign Service basis from eligible regular employees of Central/State Governments, PSUs, CPSEs, and Autonomous Bodies.

IPPB is one of India’s largest digital banking networks, operating through 650 banking outlets and leveraging over 1.65 lakh post offices along with approximately 3 lakh postmen and Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) to provide doorstep financial services.

IPPB Vacancy 2025 – Post-wise Breakdown

  • Junior Associate: 199 Posts

  • Assistant Manager (Scale-I): 110 Posts

Vacancies are distributed across multiple states and IPPB banking outlets as per Annexure-I of the official notification.

Place of Posting

Applicants must choose one specific branch/banking outlet, and selection will be made only for that opted location.
Candidates can apply for only one post/location. Posting may be subject to change based on operational needs.

IPPB Recruitment 2025 – Job Profiles

1. Assistant Manager (Scale-I)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and analyzing MIS reports for Head Offices, Sub Offices, Branch Offices, and IBCs.

  • Conducting field visits to promote business through camps, melas, outreach programs.

  • Supporting last-mile users in device handling, operations, and resolving technological issues.

  • Monitoring compliance, conducting pre-audits, and managing operational risks.

  • Driving sales targets through BC Network and direct sales.

  • Ensuring regulatory compliance of Business Correspondents (BCs/IBCs).

  • Training Department of Posts staff and coordinating customer lifecycle management.

  • Handling customer grievances and coordinating with support channels.

2. Junior Associate

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing partnerships with channel partners to drive sales and marketing activities.

  • Selling IPPB products and cross-selling through DOP offices.

  • Identifying and onboarding business correspondents and ensuring revenue generation.

  • Organizing sales campaigns, FLC camps, and melas near access points.

  • Achieving monthly sales targets and supporting end-user onboarding.

  • Handling customer issues and ensuring compliance.

Eligibility Criteria (as on 01.11.2025)

Educational Qualification

  • Graduation in any discipline (mandatory for both posts)

Age Limit

  • Junior Associate: 20–32 years

  • Assistant Manager: 20–35 years

Experience Requirements

Junior Associate

  • Central Govt/State Govt levels 4, 5, 6 with at least 3 years of experience, OR

  • PSU/Autonomous Body W-4, W-5, W-6 levels

Note:
Employees from Department of Posts are eligible only if they are in Level-4.

Assistant Manager (Scale-I)

  • Central/State Govt Level 7 (5 years experience) OR Level 8 (3 years experience)

  • PSU/Autonomous Body: Level E-0 (3 years) or E-1

Note:
Department of Posts employees are not eligible.

Pay & Allowances

The deputed officer may choose either:

  1. Pay of the deputation post (IPPB), OR

  2. Parent cadre basic pay + deputation allowance + personal pay (if applicable)

Tenure of Deputation

  • Initial period: 1 year

  • Extendable up to 2 additional years (year-to-year review)

  • Performance reviewed every 6 months

  • Unsatisfactory performance over two cycles may lead to repatriation

  • Mandatory cooling-off period of 2 years after previous deputation at IPPB

Selection Procedure

  • Merit list prepared outlet-wise based on Graduation Percentage.

  • Bank may conduct Assessment, Online Test, GD, or Interview if needed.

  • In case of tie, candidate older in age is preferred.

  • Exact percentage (up to 2 decimals) required; rounding not allowed.

  • CGPA must be converted as per university formula.

  • Mandatory upload of NOC containing:

    • Details of major/minor penalties (last 5 years)

    • Vigilance Clearance

    • Confirmation of relieving within 30 days if selected

Applications without proper NOC will be rejected.

  • ₹750/- (Non-refundable)

  • Fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted.
