Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.
2. Age Limit (as on 01-07-2025):
- 18 to 25 years (born between 02-07-2000 and 01-07-2007).
- Relaxations apply: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, Ex-Servicemen, departmental candidates, and others as per rules.
3. Educational Qualification (as on 21-10-2025):
- 10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized board.
- Relaxable to 11th pass for children of Delhi Police personnel and certain staff categories.
- Male candidates must hold a valid LMV driving license (Motorcycle/Car) at the time of PE&MT.
Selection Process
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE):
- 100 questions for 100 marks, 90 minutes duration.
- Subjects:
- General Knowledge/Current Affairs – 50 marks
- Reasoning – 25 marks
- Numerical Ability – 15 marks
- Computer Fundamentals (MS Word, Excel, Internet, etc.) – 10 marks
- Negative marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer.
- Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT): Conducted by Delhi Police in Delhi.
- Male: 1600m run, Long Jump, High Jump, Height (170 cm), Chest (81–85 cm).
- Female: 1600m run, Long Jump, High Jump, Height (157 cm).
- Relaxations apply for certain categories.
- Medical Examination: Candidates must be physically and medically fit as per Delhi Police standards.
