The bank has announced 500 vacancies for Generalist Officer (Scale II) on a permanent basis. Category-wise breakup:

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Essential:

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Integrated Dual Degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) from a recognized University/Institute

  • OR Chartered Accountant (CA)

• Desirable:

  • Professional qualifications like CMA, CFA, ICWA

  • JAIIB & CAIIB certifications

Experience

• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience as an officer in any scheduled public or private sector bank.

• Preference for experience in Credit, Branch Head, or In-charge roles.

Age Limit (As on 31.07.2025)

• Minimum: 22 years

• Maximum: 35 years

• Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: +5 years

  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): +3 years

  • PwBD: +10 to +15 years depending on category

  • Ex-servicemen: +5 years

Job Profile

Generalist Officers (Scale II) will be responsible for:

• Overall branch management, business development, and public relations

• Achieving business and credit targets

• Monitoring credit portfolios and recovery of NPAs

• Sanctioning powers for lending/non-lending operations

• Ensuring compliance with KYC, RBI, and bank guidelines

• Organizing customer meets and managing branch operations effectively

Pay Scale & Benefits

• Pay Scale: ₹64,820 – 2,340/1 – 67,160 – 2,680/10 – 93,960

• Eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA), HRA/Lease rental, CCA, medical benefits, and other allowances as per rules.

• Posting will be PAN-India, based on bank requirements.

Probation & Bond

• Probation Period: 6 months

• Service Bond: ₹2 lakh for a minimum service period of 2 years

Selection Process

1. Online Examination – 150 marks

   • English Language – 20 marks

   • Quantitative Aptitude – 20 marks

   • Reasoning Ability – 20 marks

   • Professional Knowledge (Banking & Management) – 90 marks

   • Duration: 2 hours

   • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer

2. Interview – 100 marks

   • Final selection based on 75% weightage to the online exam & 25% weightage to the interview.

   • Minimum qualifying marks: 50% (UR/EWS), 45% (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD)
