🔹 ONGC Apprentice Vacancy Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 06.11.2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 24 years

  • Candidates born between 06.11.2001 and 06.11.2007 are eligible.

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

• PwBD: 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC)

🔹 Educational Qualification Requirements

Note:

• Candidates must possess qualifications recognized by UGC/AICTE/State Boards.

• Candidates with distance learning degrees recognized by statutory bodies are eligible.

• A candidate can apply for only one trade and one work centre.

🔹 Stipend Details

The stipend will be paid as per The Apprentices Act, 1961.

🔹 Selection Process

• The selection will be based on merit drawn from marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

• If two candidates have the same merit, the older candidate will be given preference.

• No written test or interview will be conducted.

🔹 General Conditions

• Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship are not eligible.

• Candidates with more than one year of job experience after qualification are not eligible.

• ONGC will not provide accommodation, TA/DA, or transport during training.

• Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee permanent employment.

• Applications with incomplete details will be rejected.
