Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th class) or equivalent from a recognized board by 01 August 2025.
Age Limit (As on 01 August 2025):

MTS: 18 to 25 years

Havaldar: 18 to 27 years
Age relaxation applicable as per government norms.
Nationality:
Candidate must be an Indian citizen or meet conditions mentioned in the notification for Nepalese, Bhutanese, or Tibetan refugees.

MTS: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

Havaldar: CBT + Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)

Computer-Based Exam (MTS & Havaldar):
Divided into two sessions:
Session-I:

Numerical & Mathematical Ability – 20 Qs / 60 Marks

Reasoning Ability & Problem Solving – 20 Qs / 60 Marks
Session-II:

General Awareness – 25 Qs / 75 Marks

English Language & Comprehension – 25 Qs / 75 Marks
Note: Negative marking of 1 mark in Session-II only.
Physical Standards (For Havaldar Only)
PET:

Male: Walk 1600 meters in 15 minutes

Female: Walk 1 km in 20 minutes
PST:

Male: Height – 157.5 cm, Chest – 81 cm (with 5 cm expansion)

Female: Height – 152 cm, Weight – 48 kg
