SpaceX is currently hiring for multiple key financial and operational roles in Bangalore, India, including Accounting Manager, Payments Manager, Senior Treasury Analyst, and Tax Manager. These positions are 100% on-site and designed for professionals eager to contribute to one of the worlds most innovative companies.
1. Accounting Manager (India)
Location: Bangalore, India
As SpaceX expands its international footprint, the Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping accounting, reporting, and statutory compliance for Starlinks India operations.
Responsibilities:

Lead financial statement audits for India and regional entities.

Prepare statutory financial statements and manage intercompany accounting.
-
Handle VAT reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
-
Partner with the tax team on provisions, transfer pricing, and intercompany entries.
-
Oversee revenue and receivables under both US GAAP and local GAAP.
-
Strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.
-
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
-
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
-
7+ years of accounting/audit experience, ideally in a Big 4 or multinational firm.
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience with local GAAP and working knowledge of US GAAP.
-
Advanced Excel and intercompany accounting experience.
-
Strong communication and analytical skills.
-
VAT/GST knowledge and SQL experience are a plus.
2. Payments Manager (India)
Location: Bangalore, India
As Payments Manager, you will oversee all aspects of payment processing and risk management in India, ensuring smooth transactions and secure operations to support Starlinks growth in the region.
Responsibilities:

Monitor payment success rates, fraud rates, settlements, and reconciliations.

Manage disputes, chargebacks, and payment inquiries.
-
Implement strategies for payments growth, cost optimization, and process improvements.
-
Lead payment readiness initiatives for new products and plans.
-
Maintain compliance with payment processing regulations.
-
Identify and mitigate fraud risk through proactive controls.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

7+ years in fintech, payments, or risk management.
-
Experience with domestic India payment methods (UPI, RuPay, cards, etc.).
-
Proficiency in SQL reporting.
Preferred Skills:
-
Background in payments for e-commerce or technology companies.
-
Multinational experience and strong multitasking abilities.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Comfortable collaborating across global time zones.
3. Senior Treasury Analyst (India)
Location: Bangalore, India
The Senior Treasury Analyst will help build and optimize Starlinks treasury operations in India, supporting its global expansion through cash management, FX strategies, and banking relationships.
Responsibilities:

Build treasury infrastructure to support Starlinks rapid growth.

Manage global cash activities, bank accounts, and KYC processes.

Execute and monitor foreign exchange trades.
-
Develop processes for FX trading, risk analysis, and investments.

Collaborate with treasury teams globally to improve systems and controls.

Implement best practices across all treasury functions.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

4+ years of treasury experience in a multinational or global bank.
Preferred Skills:

MBA or masters degree in finance or related field.

Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
-
Experience with FX trading, derivatives, and payment systems.
-
Familiarity with Bloomberg, FXAll, or 360T platforms.

Proven ability to drive process improvements independently.
4. Tax Manager (India)
Location: Bangalore, India
The Tax Manager will oversee direct and indirect tax operations, ensuring compliance across India and other countries where Starlink operates.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns.

Manage tax payments, provisions, and reconciliations.

Handle tax invoicing and withholding matters.
-
Oversee transfer pricing documentation and intercompany balance tracking.
-
Research and resolve tax technical issues and audit inquiries.

Collaborate with global tax and finance teams for compliance and advisory functions.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Tax.

7+ years of tax experience in public accounting or a multinational corporation.
Preferred Skills:

Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm.

Expertise in GST/VAT, transfer pricing, and tax compliance.

Strong analytical and data management abilities.

Ability to multitask and work independently.
