IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

✔ Candidates must have passed the required ITI / Diploma / Degree / Class XII in regular full-time mode only.

✔ Minimum Marks:

• General / EWS / OBC: 50%

• SC / ST / PwBD: 45%

✔ Candidates with higher professional degrees like BE/B.Tech, MBA, MCA, LLB, CA are not eligible.
✔ Candidates cannot apply for more than one trade.

Age Limit (as on 30.11.2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 24 years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: +5 years

• OBC-NCL: +3 years

• PwBD: +10 years (additional relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-PwBD)

IOCL Apprentice Selection Process 2025

There will be NO written exam. Selection is based on:

1. Percentage of marks in qualifying exam

2. Preference to fresh apprentices

3. Tie-breaking (if required):

   • Older candidate (DOB)

   • Higher marks in Matriculation

Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification and Medical Fitness Test.

• 10th Marksheet (Date of Birth proof)

• 12th/ITI/Diploma/Degree marksheets

• Final certificate of the qualification

• Caste (SC/ST/OBC), EWS, PwBD certificate (if applicable)
