Available Positions & Eligibility
1. Project Associate I (Library Science & Archives)
- Number of Posts: 1
- Salary: ₹45,000 per month (Including HRA)
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years (as of April 4, 2025)
- Qualification:
- First-Class Master’s in Library and Information Science (M.L.I.Sc.) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in archival work (physical & digital).
- Desirable Skills:
- Diploma/Degree in Archives & Records Management, Digital Library Management.
- Experience in digital repositories and archival software.
- Strong knowledge of digitization standards and archival best practices.
- Job Role:
- Collecting, organizing, and preserving institutional records.
- Creating awareness about the archive through exhibitions and events.
- Ensuring security and digital accessibility of archived materials.
2. Project Associate I (Web Developer/Designer)
- Number of Posts: 1
- Salary: ₹45,000 per month (Including HRA)
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years (as of April 4, 2025)
- Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT or MCA/M.Sc. (IT) with minimum 60% marks.
- 2 years of experience in web development.
- Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, SQL, PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of web security, UI/UX, digital content management.
- Experience with Library Management Systems (Koha), DSpace, ArchivesSpace.
- Job Role:
- Designing and maintaining the Institute Archives web portal.
- Developing digital repositories and enhancing online access.
- Implementing metadata standards (MARC, Dublin Core, EAD, RAD).
3. Project Assistant I (Institute Archives)
- Number of Posts: 1
- Salary: ₹28,000 per month (Including HRA)
- Age Limit: Up to 28 years (as of April 4, 2025)
- Qualification:
- First-Class Master’s in Library and Information Science (M.L.I.Sc.).
- Desirable Skills:
- Diploma/Degree in Archives & Records Management, Digital Content Management.
- Knowledge of cataloging, digital preservation, and electronic records management.
- Job Role:
- Assisting in archival operations under senior staff supervision.
- Maintaining digital and physical archives of institutional records.
- Supporting the Library team in documentation and preservation.
