IBPS Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026-27: Apply Online for CRP SPL-XV

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the official notification for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP SPL-XV) for Specialist Officer (SO) posts in participating Public Sector Banks. Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

Candidates must be:

• Indian Citizens OR

• Subjects of Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees OR

• Persons of Indian origin from specified countries with relevant eligibility certificates.

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025):

• Minimum: 20 years

• Maximum: 30 years

• Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

Educational Qualification:

Each post requires specific qualifications:

• IT Officer: 4-year degree in relevant IT/Computer/Electronics fields or PG in related subjects.

• Agricultural Field Officer: 4-year graduation in agriculture or allied fields.

• Rajbhasha Adhikari: PG in Hindi with English at graduation or PG in Sanskrit with Hindi and English.

• Law Officer: LLB degree and enrolled as Advocate.

• HR Officer: Graduate with 2-year full-time PG degree/diploma in HR or related field.

• Marketing Officer: Graduate with 2-year full-time MBA/PGDM in Marketing.

Selection Process

The recruitment process involves three stages:

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective)

2. Main Examination (Objective and Descriptive for Rajbhasha)

3. Interview

Final selection will be based on the Main Exam and Interview performance (weightage 80:20).

• SC/ST/PwBD: ₹175

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹850
