Pay Scale and Benefits

Selected candidates will be placed at Level 7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400) in the pay matrix, along with admissible Central Government allowances.
Additional Benefits:

• Special Security Allowance: 20% of basic pay

• Cash compensation: For duty performed on holidays (up to 30 days)

IB ACIO-II Tech 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must:

• Have qualified GATE in 2023, 2024, or 2025 in Electronics & Communication (EC) or Computer Science & Information Technology (CS).

• Possess any of the following:

  • BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or related disciplines from a recognized university/institute; or

  • Master’s Degree in Science (Electronics/Computer Science/Physics with Electronics), Electronics & Communication, or MCA.

Age Limit (as on 16 November 2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 27 years
  Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years

• OBC: 3 years

• Departmental Candidates: Up to 40 years

• Widows/Divorced Women: Up to 35 years (UR), 38 years (OBC), 40 years (SC/ST)

• Ex-Servicemen and Meritorious Sportspersons: As per Govt. norms

Note: The post is not suitable for candidates with benchmark disabilities (PwBD).

Selection Process

The selection process for IB ACIO-II/Tech 2025 will be based on the following stages:

1. Shortlisting based on GATE Score:
   Candidates (10 times the number of vacancies) will be shortlisted based on valid GATE scores from 2023, 2024, or 2025.

2. Skill Test:
   A practical, technical test related to the job profile.

3. Interview:
   Assessment of subject knowledge and communication skills.

Weightage:

• GATE Score – 750 marks

• Skill Test – 250 marks

• Interview – 175 marks
  Total – 1175 marks

The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined performance in all stages.

Service Liability

The selected candidates are required to serve anywhere in India, as the post carries an All India Service Liability.
