Educational Qualification

• Minimum Qualification:

  • Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent from a recognized board

Only the Matriculation certificate will be accepted as proof of age.

• Maximum Age: 23 Years

Age Relaxation

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years

Sports Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have participated or won medals in recognized competitions held between 15 January 2024 and 15 January 2026.

Eligible Levels of Competition

• International Level:

  • Olympics, World Championships, World Cups, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games

• National Level:

  • National Games, Senior National Championships, National Open Championships

• Youth / Junior Level:

  • Youth & Junior National or International Championships

Only the highest medal or highest level of participation will be considered for merit.

Selection Process

The BSF Sports Quota selection process includes:

3. Physical Standard Test (PST)

4. Merit List Based on Sports Achievements

5. Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

6. Final Selection

There is no written examination for this recruitment.

Physical Standards

Height

• Male: 170 cm

• Female: 157 cm

(Relaxations available for ST candidates, North-Eastern states, hill areas, and specific communities)

Chest (Male Only)

• Unexpanded: 80 cm

• Expansion: 5 cm

Medical Standards

• Normal eyesight (6/6 and 6/9 without correction)

• No color blindness

• Free from major physical deformities

Salary & Pay Scale

• Pay Level: Level-3 (7th Pay Commission)
