Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Must have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12th pass) from a recognized board.

• Must possess one year Sanitary Inspector Diploma/Certificate from a recognized institute (ITI or equivalent).

• Basic knowledge of computer applications is mandatory.

• Must have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi language.

Age Limit (as on 15-09-2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 33 years

• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories, women, ex-servicemen, and PwD candidates as per government rules.

Salary Structure

• Fixed Pay: �26,000/- per month for the first 5 years.

• After 5 years: Eligible for regular pay scale of �25,500  �81,100/- (Level-4) under 7th Pay Commission, subject to satisfactory service.

Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted through a competitive written examination (MCQ-based) in CBRT/OMR mode, consisting of two parts:

Part-A (60 Marks):

• Reasoning & Data Interpretation  30 marks

• Quantitative Aptitude  30 marks

Part-B (150 Marks):

• Constitution of India, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension  30 marks

• Subject-related (Sanitary Inspector & Public Health)  120 marks

• Total Marks: 210

• Duration: 3 Hours

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer

• Qualifying Marks: 40% in each part
